Mere days after shamelessly throttling its finest oeuvre from the 90‘s to the year of reboots, 2015, Nickelodeon is reportedly in talks over reviving shows such as Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Angry Beavers and Rocko’s Modern Life—among others—into one sublime physical being: an “Avengers-style” crossover film, dubbed NICKTOONS.
According to an exclusive obtained by The Tracking Board, Nickelodeon is *allegedly* in early stages of development with Paramount Pictures – with NICKTOONS likely to be a live action and animated crossover – an ambitious approach that barely worked even for The Simpsons, but most certainly did for Space Jam.
Risky, but huge if it works.
