Nick Kroll steers away from his comedy lifeblood in the trailer for the upcoming ‘Adult Beginners‘—a film centering around Jake‘s (Kroll) move-in with his pregnant sister (Rose Byrne) following his financial downfall and new life as a depressed nanny, of sorts, to his 3-year-old nephew.
Taking on srs roles often bodes more than well for actors who are branded as funny guys – some of Jim Carrey and Steve Carell‘s best work have come from dramatic films, so it’ll be interesting to see a ~new side~of Kroll.
Kroll and Byrne star alongside Bobby Cannavale, Joel McHale and Jane Krakowski in ‘Adult Beginners’ which is due for release this year.
