Celebrity drama is constantly going down on the internet, but very rarely does it come straight from the source. That’s what happened last week, when NFL star Danny Amendola posted a lengthy Instagram caption in which he blasted his on/off ex-girlfriend, Olivia Culpo.

Amendola was widely panned by people on social media as well as media outlets for the frankly rude and gross rant, which he swiftly deleted. The couple have dated on and off since 2016.

Now, the dude seems to be in damage control, but he’s doing kind of a shit job of it if you ask me. He posted this photo of him performing with Kenny Chesney, captioning it “People won’t often remember what you said, they will remember how you made them feel”.

Few things here. One – pretty sure Olivia feels pretty shit after what you posted online, Danny. So there’s that. Two – also quite certain people do remember what you say, so maybe try apologising properly instead of cryptically posting inspirational quotes?
