*applauds uproariously*
It’s not much at 15 seconds but fuck knows we’ll take it.
It’s your first look at John Boyega‘s character Finn, in Stormtrooper gear and wielding a blue lightsaber.
Confirming what we all know to be true – that there’s no way you could film a Star Wars movie and not make lightsaber noises – he tweeted this to a fan:
We also get a shot of the First Order and its army of Stormies, plus a quickie of Daisy Ridley‘s character, Rey, with droid BB-8.
The full trailer for JJ Abrams’ installment is still a month away, with the movie set to drop in Aussie cinemas on December 17.
