New ‘Star Wars’ Trailer Drops Biggest Hint Yet At Han Solo’s Family Tree

Let’s be real here: the general public’s thirst for Star Wars is reaching critical levels.

Until the seventh instalment’s release, then – WHICH IS DECEMBER 18, BOOK THE MIDNIGHT TICKETS NOW AND WORK ON YOUR ‘CHUCKING-A-SICKIE’ SKILLS – here’s another trailer to keep your #thirst at manageable levels.

Look, straight up – there’s still no sign of Luke-bloody-Skywalker (Mark Hamill) (100% they’ll keep that shit locked up until the film’s released), but there is highly pleasing footage of Han Solo (Harrison Ford), John Boyega (Finn), and Daisy Ridley (Rey) giving off total Katniss Everdeen vibes as she fights her way through a Jakku marketplace.

The trailer also drops subtle hints at Rey’s parentage, and either they’re fucking with us, or HAN SOLO IS HER FATHER.

“I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people,” narrates Lupita Nyong’o‘s character Maz Kanata, and then it cuts STRAIGHT to Han. “I see your eyes. I know your eyes.”

Ergo, Princess Leia is her mother, Luke’s her uncle, and this is one big intergalactic family reunion.

THE EXCITEMENT CANNOT BE CONTAINED.
