In a recent announcement, Rowling’s Pottermore site revealed the upcoming Harry Potter: A Journey Through… non-fiction series. The e-books are inspired by an audiobook, which was inspired by a 2017 British Library display, which was inspired by the original books. Trickle-down Rowlingnomics, folks.

Each will take the form of a key Hogwarts class. Expect to learn the folkloric backgrounds of Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Potions and Herbology, Divination and Astronomy, and Care of Magical Creatures. The e-books will also include notes and manuscripts from the library display, along with drawings by Rohan Daniel Eason.

The first two books – Dark Arts and Herbology – are available for pre-order before their release on June 27, with the other two slated for release some time in the near future.

It’s absolutely astounding news for anyone who hasn’t yet moved on to another book series. You can peep the full details here.
