If you enjoy Game of Thrones, teasing and anti-climaxing – and let’s face it, who doesn’t? – then you’ll love the new 45-second teaser trailer for the third season of HBO’s fantasy epic, which by now requires no further introduction.
The teaser, which offers more than its 15-second predecessor but still gives pretty much nothing away (as a tease is wont to do), features a creepy three-eyed raven flying past a variety of iconic IRL tourist hotspots (Venice! Paris!), where presumably it has been on a Euro vaycay before making its return to Westeros, a decidedly less Instagram worthy destination.
The teaser is also set to the dulcet tones of ‘The Rains of Castomere‘, as performed by The National, making for some chilling teasing.
Below that is a BTS featurette for when the teaser inevitably leaves you wanting more, as teasing is also wont to do.
Game of Thrones returns March 31st.
