Netflix Set To Develop Live Action “Legend Of Zelda” TV Series

Because your franchise truly hasn’t made it until you add “TV reboot” to sixteen video games, an animated mini series, a monopoly game and every sweet piece of merchandise known to mankind, Netflix is reportedly set to make a “Legend Of Zelda” live action series.

You heard correctly, nerds. All the trimmings of your childhood wiled away in front of an N64, huh, ha HAYYING your way around Hyrule for red rupees, not even being able to deal with that fucking ~aqua~ level and telling Navi’s incessant “HEY! LISTEN!” to GTFO, will be brought to the small screen. Hollywood/TVwood, everyone: sequels and reboots never won’t sell.

To the loyal dudes who are at this point saying “RIP” to their childhoods about this series, you know too well which precise direction haters should go.

The Wall Street Journal claims Netflix is in the early stages of developing the series, and is reportedly working closely with Nintendo to remain faithful to the game’s roots.

WSJ reports that a writer is yet to be on board to script the series; I have, naturally, put my hand up for the position. My version will have Armie Hammer playing Link, Emilia Clarke as Zelda, and Chris Pratt as Ganondorf. And none for Navi, bye.
