Picture this: it’s New Year’s Day 2021. You may have gone a little hard on the bevvies the night before and so need to spend today recovering in bed, with a fan pointed directly at your face to beat off the heat. You turn to your old friend Netflix to provide you with some comfort, something mindless to turn on while you try to figure out what food-drink combination (more wine?) will fix your hangover.
Netflix have dropped their new releases for January, some that will help you through New Year’s, and others that will keep you going for the rest of the month.
They’ve got returning original series, like Archie Comics teen drama Riverdale, Matt Groening‘s fairy tale animation Disenchantment, bondage sitcom Bonding and martial arts dramedy Cobra Kai.
There’s movies like Batman Forever (the one where Jim Carrey is the Riddler) and David O. Russell‘s Oscar-nominated crime caper American Hustle.
And the sweetest news of all, all nine seasons of the US Office are expected to arrive on Netflix in January, although we don’t have an exact date yet to start our Dunder bingin’.
