Netflix Is Dropping Yet Another Huge Murder Miniseries For You To Froth On

Just in case you needed another excuse to sprawl yourself on the couch for 10 hours straight pontificating on an unsolved crime an pretending it constitutes study, Netflix has got your back. After the runaway success of Making A Murderer, they’re giving it another crack with The Keepers.

It’s a seven-part series about a 26-year-old nun and teacher who disappeared in Baltimore in 1969. According to Netflix it’ll also cover “the horrific secrets and pain that linger nearly five decades after her death” in the Baltimore area.
With the promise of murder, nuns, a possible coverup and the Catholic Church, I’m sure this one will have the potential for a similar kind of reach to Making a Murderer. Maybe?
It’s directed by Ryan White, who made The Case Against 8, the well-received film about the fight for same-sex marriage in California. Looks like it’ll be a good one.
