Get ready to be suplexed into next week with the new trailer for season two of Netflix‘s GLOW; quite easily one of the best female-led comedies about wrestling that’s out there at the moment. Do not come for me on this, we both know that I’m right.
After the very good run of season one this time last year – and if you’re like me you probably binged it in about three days – the trailer for the second instalment from the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling is here in a cloud of hairspray and 80s high-leg leotards.
If the trailer’s anything to go by, this season is not devoid of dramas as we follow Alison Brie and the rest of the team as they face challenges both in and out of the ring. There’s scandal! Drugs! Threats of cancellation! Dudes with perfectly blown-out hair! Marc Maron‘s impeccable moustache!
Look, it’s a show that hooks in people like me who do not know very much about wrestling at ALL, and I’m so happy it’s back.
