Neil Patrick Harris Out-Evils The Devil In 1st Look At ‘Unfortunate Events’

Disclaimer: whatever you do, don’t read this story. Seriously, it’s not worth it. It’s super depressing and doesn’t contain any information you really want.

Still here? Alrighty, glutton for punishment.

Off the back of last month’s teaser trailer, we have our first proper glimpse of Neil Patrick Harris as the dastardly Count Olaf in Netflix‘s eight-part adaptation of the deliciously morbid ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ books, by Daniel Handler.
There were doubts that NPH could out-evil Jim Carrey, who played Olaf in Brad Silberling’s 2004 film adaptation, but – from the prosthetics to the tone – it’s clear his portrayal is going to send just the right amount of shiver down our spines.

Chuck it a watch:

You can follow the plight of poor Baudelaire orphans Violet, Klaus and Sunny when episode of hits Netflix of Friday, January 13.
Our bodies are ready, but our nerves? Not quite.
