‘NCIS’ Star Pauley Perrette Tweets About Harrowing Assault Outside Her L.A. Home

Overnight, NCIS actress Pauly Perrette took to social media to post about an experience that left her “shaken and traumatised”, when she was randomly attacked by a man on her street in Los Angeles.
Perrette said that she was walking to a recently-purchased guest house to meet her architect when she was grabbed by a “psychotic” homeless man, who pinned her arm and began punching her in the face and head.
“I was alone, terrified and trapped,” she said, explaining that the man then began threatening to kill her. “There was an empty garage behind me and I knew if he got me in there I was dead.”
The man repeated his own name – William – as he threatened Perrette, and knowing she couldn’t overcome him, she told him “William is a beautiful name, I have a little nephew named William.”
The man continued assaulting her, but then said “get the fuck out of here” and left her, where she collapsed onto the sidewalk before giving an account of the incident to police.
Perrette provided a sketch of her attacker, and the L.A.P.D. have since confirmed that they arrested a 45-year-old man on charges of felony battery. The man remains in prison.
The actress ended her harrowing account by calling for greater mental health support and housing for the homeless. You can read her full description of the incident below:
