Oh Good, Nathalie Emmanuel Has Promised A “Heartbreaking” End To ‘GoT’

It’s been eight years in the making, but Game Of Thrones‘ final season is almost here. We’re keen. You’re keen. Nathalie Emmanuel is bulk keen.

Speaking to Indo Asian News Service, Emmanuel spilled a little bit of goss on what we can expect from the fantasy juggernaut’s climax, and effectively warned everyone even a little invested in the show to guard their precious hearts.

“So, this season is going to be incredibly satisfying for people,” said Emmanuel, who portrays royal strategist and Targaryen confidant Missandei.

“It is going to be incredibly exciting and heartbreaking.”

Previous seasons of the HBO epic have already provided the heartbreak in massive quantities, but Emmanuel’s admission is still somewhat telling. Smart money is on her loyal, razor-sharp character meeting her demise in some unconscionably cruel way.

Emmanuel added “since it is the last one, the emotions will be so much more intense.”

That sentiment echoes other statements given by cast mates including Sophie Turner, who promised the “unpredictable” final season will “up the ante” in terms of… well, everything, emotional evisceration included.

Game Of Thrones‘ final season arrives next year. Steel yourselves, mates.
