Nailed It! is back baby! Season 4 drops on Netflix next month and to celebrate, the streaming giant has gifted us the trailer which is exactly the lil’ something-something we need during these troubling times.
In this season’s celebration of failure, contestants will attempt to a cake a sloth, a cowboy riding a mechanical bull, a conical flask, and other things I just… can’t make out. Honestly.
If you’re unfamiliar with how the show works, here’s the gist. People who cannot – I repeat cannot – bake compete against each other to see who sucks the least. Whoever sucks the least at baking a very professional cake wins $10,000. If and when Nailed It! Australia becomes a thing, I am 3000 per cent signing up. I suck at most things, but I think I can suck less than others at baking. I think.
As always the brilliant Nicole Byer has returned to host the season with judge Jacques Torres at her side and a whole slew of guest judges including Adam Scott.

Later in April, Netflix will launch The Midnight Gospel – a new adult animated series from Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward and Duncan Trussell of the Duncan Trussell Family Hour podcast. The series tells the tale of Clancy, a space-caster who uses a multiverse simulator to interview beings living in other worlds. It sounds utterly normal, right? Well, the trailer is a complete 180 to Nailed It! so prepare yourselves. In fact, it’s pretty much just a horny acid trip.
The Midnight Gospel premieres on Netflix April 20.
Yes, I’m still going to watch all of it. Even if I don’t understand what I just watched in the trailer.
