Some Genius At MTV Is Uploading Full Eps Of ‘Cribs’ & ‘Punk’d’ To YouTube, Free Of Charge

Just when you thought you’d run out of things to binge-watch in iso… MTV comes to the rescue with a huge dose of 2000s nostalgia.

On its MTV Vault YouTube channel, the company started uploading vintage episodes of all its iconic reality TV shows.

The channel has started dropping a full episode of Cribs every Monday and Friday, Silent Library on Tuesdays, Punk’d on Wednesdays, and Parental Control on Thursdays.

That’s right: full, 20-minute episodes, at no cost whatsoever.

There are also a few clips from shows like My Super Sweet 16 and Room Raiders for good measure.

Highlights so far include 50 Cent’s 2007 episode of Cribs where we’re welcomed into his 4,700-square metre, 19-bedroom, 34-bathroom mansion. This was pre-bankruptcy, of course.

At the beginning of the episode, he shows off one of his six kitchens, and proudly proclaims that it’s never been used. The oven still has cardboard on the inside from the manufacturer, while the fridge is choc-full of Vitamin Water for some reason.

There’s also a 2012 episode of Punk’d with Zac Efron and Snooki, back when she was still a thing.

Not only do we get to see Zac in a car chase, but we’re also treated to the cursed scenes of Glee‘s Dianna Agron coming to the rescue of a dirty old man with a chronic hardon.

While the channel has been around for a while, the full episodes are a very new thing, likely thanks to the fact everyone is stuck at home on iso.

Clearly, someone at MTV realised there’s no better escapism than reliving the golden age of reality TV.

So pencil all this into your calendars, and prepare to relive what were truly different times.
