Modern Family Is Filming In Australia And Looking For Aussies To Cameo

The cast of Modern Family have begun touching down in Australia today to film a special holiday episode around Bondi, the Blue Mountains, Circular Quay, the Great Barrier Reef, and another twenty-four locations. The cast including Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Rico Rodriguez will be filming in Oz till the 28th of February.

So now, if you would like a cameo, best bet is to be a hottie with a body:

. A “narcissistic talk show host” called Fergus, late 30s to early 40s, who “does not have to be [a] chiselled type of guy” but must have “amazing comedy chops.”
. “A hot beach girl with comic timing” aged 24-28 to play a topless bather (to be filmed tastefully, from behind).
. “UNBELIEVABLY hot” Aussie guys aged 20-22 – “One is a life guard, so must also be ripped.”
. A “wise Australian” aged 50-70 who is “Rugged. Weathered. Knowledgeable” (“probably thinking of a Paul Hogan type here”).
. An Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander actor aged 25-50 to play a nature guide in the Blue Mountains
. A “scary-looking biker dude” aged 30-50
. A cab driver aged 30-55
. A young female fan of Fergus.

Apparently Kyle Sandilands was approached for the Fergus part (“amazing comedy chops”. Que?) but “couldn’t be arsed” because filming would be over a few days. Otherwise, Phil Dunphy is s to suffer from an allergic reaction to Vegemite and be attacked by a kangaroo. ¯_(“~)_/¯
