AFLW star Moana Hope has married model Isabella Carlstrom in an intimate ceremony at the house of a family friend in Toorak, Melbourne.

Per reports in the Herald Sun, Hope wore a custom black tuxedo from Melbourne designer Effie Kats, while Carlstrom wore a Toni Maticevski white gown.
The reception was held under a marquee in the back yard of the Toorak mansion, with vegan food on offer, in line with the couple’s stance against animal cruelty.
Moana Hope told the Herald of the nuptials:
“It’s everything we ever wanted in a wedding. No disrespect to tradition, but it’s not very traditional. We just want it to be very personal and really nice. It’s like a big beautiful party.”
Carlstrom said that a number of her old school friends were involved, with one, a patisserie chef, making the cake, another handling flowers, and another performing the ceremony.
The couple are set to honeymoon in Mexico and the United States next month.
The couple became engaged in October of last year, when Carlstrom proposed by the grave of Hope’s late father, in order to ask his permission.
