Miranda Cosgrove Recreated Her Simply Iconique Meme For The iCarly Reboot & Hmm, Interesting

icarly, miranda cosgrove

Put down your spaghetti tacos for just one minute, because Miranda Cosgrove has done did recreated her simply iconique meme from Drake & Josh in the iCarly reboot. LOVE to see it.

Based 10 years after the Nickelodeon classic, the revival series sees Cosgrove reprise her role as Carly Shay, the OG influencer if you ask me. Joining her is Jerry Trainor as Carly’s brother, Spencer Shay, and Nathan Kress as Carly’s good mate and cameraman, Freddie Benson.

Gang’s all here!

The reboot is basically about Carly and her mates navigating work, friends, love and family in their twenties, which is always a fun time.

Laci Mosley has joined the cast as Carly’s roommate and best friend, Harper, while Jaidyn Triplett stars as Freddie’s snarky and social media-savvy stepdaughter, Millicent.

Cosgrove, who is 28 (!!!) now, recreated her beloved meme in the reboot’s latest teaser, which also happens to be the all-new title sequence. It literally pops up for just one second – around the nine-second mark – but it still made me gasp.

It really does still feel so wonnnnderful.

Naturally, Twitter has come alive in response to this gift. This was basically my reaction in a nutshell.

This meme really has become the way I react every time I see something remotely ‘hmm, interesting’ on my feeds these days.

HEHE.

The reboot is slated to drop June 17 on Paramount+ in the US, which hopefully means we’ll cop it a little later when the brand new streaming service launches in Australia.

We’ll be able to access Paramount+ come August 11 for a tidy $8.99 a month. Much like most other streaming services, Paramount+ will become the home of new and original projects, as well as some faves from CBS, Showtime, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, the Smithsonian Channel, and Sony Pictures Television.

There’ll be some original local content on it too, like the brand new second season of Five Bedrooms, starring Kat Stewart (Offspring), Stephen Peacock (Home and Away), and Hugh Sheridan (Packed to the Rafters).

Paramount+ also gave the thumbs up to a slew of Aussie productions, including Last King of The Cross and 6 Festivals and Spreadsheet. The latter stars The IT Crowd’s Katherine Parkinson as a woman looking for commitment-free sex.
