Netflix has officially renewed Mindhunter for a second season, so all you serial killer yarn-loving freaks out there… well, you’re about to be rewarded.
“We need to talk more subjects,” Netflix tweeted with the announce.

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, given the massive success of its first season, and rampant speculation already about season two. (Hint: the gruesome Atlanta child murders, plus probably going into the infamous BTK killer Dennis Rader who we continually saw in the season one opens with no explanation whatsoever.) Not to mention, executive producer David Fincher has already dropped that they have five seasons outlined for Netflix already.
“We know the scene [the series] ends on, where the target is,” he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette back in October.
Obvs, people are stoked, and wildly impatient.

Chill, guys. We’re likely not going to be seeing new Mindhunter until late next year, but hey – at least it’s coming.
