Now that the shock and devastation of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s breakup has subsided, the catty rumours have arrived and we hope you’re bloody ready ‘coz they’re spicy as hell.

Multiple sources have revealed to multiple publications that it was Miley who broke up with Liam and while the reasons for the split have varied slightly (classic he-said-she-said), the most common denominator comes down to cheating and partying (as per).
“Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate],” a source told PEOPLE. “Liam parties with his friends, and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.”
The source also alleges that in difficult times, Liam would often take his frustrations out on Miley.
“She’s been supportive of him when things get dark, but it’s tough,” the source added. “That’s something that has weighed on Miley and their relationship. He can also lash out at her, and he hates the attention their ups and downs bring.”
Another insider says Cyrus tried “valiantly” to save their marriage but couldn’t accept Liam’s “drinking a lot” and “using certain drugs”, via TMZ.
The source adds that the actor’s alleged drug use became a “deal breaker” for her as she was trying to steer clear from substances after her history of drug abuse.
Someone from Liam’s camp has vehemently denied the claims, telling TMZ that the real problem was Miley’s infidelity.
“This is another attempt by Miley to distract from her infidelity and recent outrageous public behaviour,” says the source.
While the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer was spotted getting cozy with Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter after the breakup, the source says it was going on long before their split.
These claims were then contradicted by a friend of Miley’s who divulged to WHO magazine that she was “always deathly afraid Liam would cheat on her.”
“They both had massive trust issues with each other,” the insider adds.
