Miley Cyrus Just Got Inked With Australia’s National Yeast Extract, Vegemite

Miley Cyrus, bless her cotton socks, got a proven herself to be a true friend to the Australian people by gettin’ a delicate lil’ Vegemite tattoo.

It was inked on by none other than Brian Woo a.k.a. Dr Woo, the LA-based tattoo artist known for his exquisite single-needle tattoos and being in demand by literally everyone.

He shared the pic to his almost one million Instagram followers, with the caption: “Miley Cyrus don’t play when it comes to vegemite #halfneedle.”

It might be black and white (as is Dr Woo’s way) but you can practically SEE the red and yellow logo. I’m suddenly feeling all nostalgic. Happy little Vegemites and all that jazz.

Conspiracy theorists will say this is a tribute to fiancé Liam Hemsworth, whom frequently spends his interviews raving about the famous yeast extract. [From his recent interview with Sunday Style: “After-school Milo and Vegemite on toast. I lived on it.”] They are probably not wrong.

Then again, maybe she just likes it. Or she lost a bet. Or this is in fact the start of many spread-based tattoos, and we’ll see Nutella, Kraft’s Crunchy Peanut Butter and finally a plump little jar of Bonne Maman’s Raspberry Jam on her skin before too long.

We may never know.
