Get In Loser: Tina Fey & Busy Philipps Are Hosting A ‘Mean Girls’ Watch Party On Oct 3rd

Have you ever wanted to kick back and watch Mean Girls with Tina Fey and Busy Philipps? Well, probably not. But I have. And now, thanks to Facebook Live, you can.

To celebrate the 15th October 3rd since Mean Girls first entered our lives and our hearts, the film will be live-streamed in full as part of a special viewing party hosted by Tina Fey and Busy Philipps. In case you forgot, October 3rd is the famous day in which high-school hottie Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron for the date during maths class. Iconic.

If you weren’t aware, comedic genius Tina Fey wrote the script for the movie and the musical, which scored 12 nominations at last year’s Tony Awards. And now, she’s back again to answer all the questions you’ve been dying to ask for the last 15 years.

The 2004 film featuring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried shot to cult fave-level almost instantly, and remains a teen fave to this day.

I’m not quite sure why Busy Philipps is going to be there, she wasn’t in the movie, but I am not complaining because it is my lifelong dream to become best friends with her and Michelle Williams. Like me, Busy Philipps is a huge Mean Girls fan, so we’re basically already at BFF level.

The Facebook Live show in partnership with Paramount Pictures will start at 8pm E.T (US) on October 3rd via the Mean Girls: The Musical Facebook page.

Along with a streaming of the film, the event will also feature a trivia session, a Q&A and a giveaway, because what more could you possibly want for your girls night?

I doubt Aussie fans can participate in the giveaway, which includes tickets to the Broadway production in New York. But regardless, this sounds like a fun way to spend your Thursday night.

So get your best gal pals together, Chromecast the Facebook Live and crack open a few bottles of wine to celebrate this momentous occasion.
