‘Maze Runner’ Star Dylan O’Brien Rushed To Hospital After Accident On Set

Dylan O’Brien, the 24-year-old star of Teen Wolf and the Maze Runner films, has been rushed to hospital with multiple injuries after an accident on a film set near Vancouver.
20th Century Fox released a brief statement overnight, saying:

Dylan O’Brien was injured yesterday while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure in Vancouver, Canada. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery.
Variety has since confirmed that O’Brien was struck by a car in what would appear to be a stunt gone wrong, suffering multiple broken bones as a result.
Maze Runner author James Dashner has also given a statement on O’Brien’s condition, saying:

“I just want to let everyone know that yes, Dylan was hurt, but that he’s going to be okay. Not life threatening in any way. Production is postponed but certainly not cancelled. All that matters now is that Dylan recovers. We love you, Dylan!!!”
The next Maze Runner film is due to arrive in February 2017.
