Margot Robbie Deathstares Everyone For Intense ‘Mary Queen Of Scots’ Trailer

Before royal drama consisted of discussions about the propriety of Meghan Markle crossing her legs, palace intrigue resulted in decimated armies and splintered kingdoms.

One such example of prime royal beef, the god almighty feud between Mary, Queen of Scots and her cousin Queen Elizabeth I of England, has now been turned into a major motion picture starring Markle Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie.

Mary Queen Of Scots tracks the fractured relationship between the two monarchs during the titular ruler’s attempt to, uh, overtake Liz’s throne. Things didn’t exactly work out too well on that front – and don’t even dare come at us about spoilers, considering this all went down about 450 years ago.

Cop the trailer, which also features turns from Joe Alwyn, David Tennant, and Guy Pearce, below:

Mary, Queen Of Scots, which is directed by Josie Rourke and written by House Of Cards brains trust Beau Willimon, will hit screens on January 17 2019.
