Man Murders Wife During Cruise Because She “Would Not Stop Laughing” At Him

Kenneth Ray Manzanares, a 39-year-old man from Utah, has been arrested by the FBI for killing his wife during a cruise in Alaska
The Emerald Princess, a Sydney-based cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, was boarded by the FBI in the Alaskan city of Juneau on Thursday, and the 3,400 passengers instructed to stay on board as they carried out their investigation.

Cruise ship security and med staff said they responded to an “incident” in Manzanares and his wife’s cabin on Tuesday night, and walked in to find the woman, identified only as K.M., with a serious head wound, and Mazanares with his hands covered in blood.
She would not stop laughing me,” he told someone when they asked what had happened.
Another witness reported that it was the couple’s daughter who let people know that something bad had gone on between her parents:

“One of the little girls from that room came running out, calling for help, that her parents had been in a fight. She sounded pretty desperate, but the crew came up as quickly as they could.”
The FBI continues its investigation, and the Emerald Princess is continuing its scheduled cruise – though it’ll probably be a slightly more subdued affair from now on.
