MAFS Contestant Who Was Sent Jason’s Full Homophobic Video Says It Was Worse Than What We Saw

Last week, a video featuring MAFS contestants Jason Engler, Georgia Fairweather and Johnny Balbuziente went viral as it took aim at bisexual groom, Liam Cooper with gross homophobic language.

In the video, which was obtained by the So Dramatic! podcast, Engler calls Liam a “110% wanker” and repeatedly calls him “ugly, fat, chubby.”

He also uses homophobic slurs, labelling him “a full blown homosexual” while the other two fuckwits laugh along with him.

Now, in the latest episode of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto has revealed more information about the video.

She says a contestant (who was not named) contacted her and confirmed that Georgia posted the video to her Instagram Story to her close friends only. Another contestant who was in her close friends group then recorded it and shared it to the world.

One of the contestants told So Dramatic!, “It’s so sad that both Johnny and Georgia have gay family and friends but they both laughed and did not stop Jason. It’s so disappointing to see. Joking and laughing about someone’s weight is disgusting. It’s 2021, grow the fuck up.”

They went on to claim that Jason Engler said racial slurs about his MAFS bride Alana Lister but it was cut from the video as we only saw a shortened version of it.

“Jason also said shit about Alana but it was cut out. He was mocking her and her ethnicity,” the unnamed contestant claimed.

The video was filmed three days before the final vows, then three days later, they both wrote ‘Stay’, despite mocking their partners on Instagram.

Apparently a fellow contestant told Liam about the video after they’d filmed the final vows. Upon watching it, they said he was “devastated and disgusted.”

“It was like he had been kicked in the guts,” the contestant told the podcast.

The host adds that Liam confronts Georgia about the video at the reunion, which was filmed in February, calling out all three participants, and apparently Jason Engler denied everything and all three of them refused to apologise.

The video is mentioned a few times throughout the reunion, apparently, and causes a whole lot of chaos.

The contestant adds that Bryce Ruthven then allegedly jumped in and defended Jason, saying: “Sounds like you were just jealous because you weren’t invited to the party.” Wow. Just wow.

The host adds that although Alana was offended by Jason’s racist rant, she was more bothered by the blatant homophobia in the video and after calling him out, he allegedly went on to dump her via text.

Jason has yet to comment on the allegations of racism. He did, however, apologise for what he said in the video in a lame-ass statement to Daily Mail Australia.

“I would like to sincerely apologise for my comments in regards to a fellow MAFS participant’s sexuality,” he said.

“After a few too many drinks I made some inappropriate remarks that I am ashamed of and greatly regret. I will learn from this and try to become a better person from this experience.”

The MAFS reunion is set to air on Nine soon.
