MAFS’ Michael Brunelli Went Rogue On TikTok Spilling BTS Secrets About Fights, Producers And Salaries

I know what you’re thinking, the MAFS reunion is done and dusted, who gives a fuck anymore? Me, that’s who. And obviously you care too, hence why you’ve clicked this article. So sit down, STFU, and take a nice big gulp of tea, served by Married At First Sight ledge Michael Brunelli.

The BF of Martha Kalifatidis took to TikTok to share a bunch of behind-the-scenes secrets of the spicy (read: trashy) dating show.

The personal trainer answered a bunch of questions from fans, the first being: “What were some of the bizarre rules you had to follow on the show?”

He responded, “One of the weirdest things when we were on MAFS was that they didn’t film all day, so when the camera crew left [at night], they told us, ‘Don’t learn anything about each other, don’t really talk to each other because it needs to be on camera’.

“If you have a fight, you need to stop mid-fight, call the producer so they can bring the camera and can start recording… then you’ve got to keep going with the fight!”

Though he admits that he and Martha broke that rule many a time, much to the annoyance of the producers.

Peep the vid below, followed by a few others for good measure:

Then later in an Instagram Live with Martha, they got talking about MAFS salaries (which has been a v. hot topic lately).

When asked about how much coin the stars rake in to be part of the show, he revealed that the relationship experts got paid the most. Martha then interjected, saying: “No, we probably got more than them.”

They also revealed that filming the MAFS reunion took 15 long hours, and remember when they had that yarn with the experts? Well, that went down at 3am. JFC.

“That is how you make a reality TV show,” Martha said. “You film for 12, 14, 16 hours a day and then you just show people 20 minutes.”

That last point made by Martha is actually really interesting and certainly makes sense as to why so many reality stars complain about copping a bad edit, because there’s so much of the story that gets left out.

God I love it when reality stars spill the tea. It’s literally more interesting than the shows themselves, if ya ask me.

Anywho, the new MAFS is coming soon. Can’t bloody wait.
