Jess Reveals Dan Dumped Her After Seeing Her Behaviour In The ‘MAFS’ Reunion

They’ve been portraying themselves as the pErFeCt CoUpLe on social media since filming of Married At First Sight (MAFS) ended but it turns out the forthcoming reunion caused a whole lotta friction for Jessika Power and Dan Webb.

In a teaser for the reunion episode, we see that a clip is played for the entire group where Jess reveals she tried to put the moves on Nic.

The revelation reportedly ticked Dan off so badly that he dumped Jess as soon as they’d finished taping the final episode.

“Dan and I did have a little break after the reunion,” Jess told news.com.au.

“He’d seen the video of me saying I was sexually attracted to Nic, and his ego was hurt. Dan already knew about the conversation between Nic and I, he just didn’t know the extent of it.”

“He said, ‘Obviously we’re not together now’,” Jess said. “And I said, ‘Whatever, I never got what I wanted out of this relationship anyway’. I was being a brat.

“Two days later Dan reached out to me again, and I realised how much I missed him. We had a bit of a break, and we’re at the best we could ever be right now.”

She claims that things between the pair are fine now and she’s moved to the Gold Coast to live closer to him and plans to meet his fam and son in the coming weeks.

Power adds that she knows people assume she only had the affair to bolster her fame, but she insists that she was never interested in Nick.

“I think people may think I was looking for an affair, but I was also looking for an out from my horrible relationship with Mick,” she said. “He was way more horrible to me than the public get to see.”

As for that spicy clip where she says she’s interested in Nic, she basically laid the blame on producers.

“The producers asked me, ‘Are you sexually attracted to Nic?’ And you always have to put the question in the answer and I said, ‘Yeah, I am sexually attracted to Nic. He’s a good-looking guy’.

“Nic and I were always friends throughout the experiment. He’s a great guy, but it was never really like, ‘I’d swap with you in the experiment’. I was just trying to put into his head that he deserved better than Cyrell.”
