Turns Out That Extremely Cooked ‘MAFS’ Best Man Speech Was Completely Fabricated

Viewers and the wedding guests were left shook by what’s been dubbed ‘the worst best man speech in history’ during last night’s spicy episode of Married At First Sight (MAFS).

At Mick Gould and Jessika Power‘s wedding ceremony, the groom’s Best Man Broxy (what a name) gave an R-rated speech where he relayed a story that involved a trip to the hospital after use of the sex-stimulant Viagra.

Not really a yarn you want told with Nan and Pop in the room and Power’s fam were left looking understandably pissed about the sleazy story.

But the sleaziest part of the whole debacle isn’t even the Viagra-fuelled hospital trip, it’s the fact that the whole thing was apparently made up.

A source close to Mick told Daily Mail Australia that Broxy is “deeply embarrassed” by his speech as it never even happened.

“[The best man] made the whole bloody thing up and now he regrets it,” said the insider. “He’s embarrassed he got dragged into everything.”

They continued: “There was no Viagra, no-one went to hospital despite what he said. He was just playing up to the cameras and trying to make people laugh.”

The insider went on to acknowledge that Jess’ fam, especially the men, were left fuming after Mick told the unfortunate and apparently fabricated tale.

“Unfortunately Jessika’s brother and dad were really angry about it all, and Mick was the one to bear the brunt of it.”

DM also reported that what we saw on screen wasn’t even the whole spiel, apparently some of the more scandalous parts of the made-up story never made it to air as it was too crude.

“It got so much worse. It was absolutely disgusting,” an onlooker told the site.
