MAFS Australia Is Now Airing In The UK & The Brits Hate The Cast Just As Much As You Did

Australia’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) has just started airing overseas and it’s pretty much going down like a lead balloon. By that I mean they basically feel the same way about *certain* members of the cast as we do.

Daily Mail Australia reports that it’s just season 6 at the mo, which starred Martha Kalifatidis, Michael Brunelli, Jessika Power, Ines Basic, Cyrell Paule, Melissa Lucarelli, Sam Ball, Cameron Merchant, Jules Robinson and more.

The general consensus from UK viewers is that Cam and Jules’ relationship is the real deal, with many folks praising them as a “match made in heaven.”

As for MAFS season 6 season villain Ines Basic, however, they weren’t quite so kind. Peep some of the not-so-nice things overseas viewers have had to say about her on Twitter:

Following all the negative comments she was copping, the MAFS star spoke to British publication The Sun Online to air her grievances.

“I’ve always wanted to go to England but I don’t know if I ever will now as I might get fucking stabbed,” she said.

“I want everyone [in the UK] to know I’m a really nice girl, at the time I was just close-minded and it was all filmed two years ago. I couldn’t even be that person again if I tried.”

She added that she hopes Queen Elizabeth and Victoria Beckham enjoy having MAFS on their screens.

“I love the idea of the Queen sitting down [watching MAFS] in the palace – or the Beckhams. I’d love to be in Victoria’s friend group. I promise I’m nice,” she said.

She went on to bag out Bronson Norrish, who she was partnered with on the show (and complained about the whole time until their split).

“Of all the people in the world to put me with, I thought it was an insult. The eyebrow ring fucking sent me – I was real angry about [it]. Do they think I’m a piece of shit or something, is this what I deserve [in] life?” she said.

“I just couldn’t be nice to him because I took it so personally. I went in there really determined to be placed with the man of my dreams – not that.

“There’s a time for everything, and I don’t think an eyebrow ring is for a wedding. It’s a unique thing, you just don’t see many.”

She concluded by shooting her shot with Harry Styles and good luck on that one, doll.

“Harry Styles is my dream. I used to sit there watching hours of his interviews on YouTube because I was so obsessed with him,” she gushed.

“I once went on a date with a British guy, and he said his family member designed the wedding dress for one of the princesses and is acquainted with the Royal Family.

“I don’t know if he made that up though but he then told me I was mental.”

MAFS began airing on Lifetime in the U.S. last year.
