McCormick gave a talk to friends and fans who were in attendance where he mentioned the fact that investigators had arrested and charged the alleged drug dealer who sold Miller the drugs that killed him.

“So they finally caught the motherfucker that sold him the drugs that killed him,” McCormick said.

Last week, a Hollywood Hills man by the name of Cameron James Pettit was charged with allegedly providing Miller with counterfeit drugs that contained fentanyl, cocaine, and Xanax.

Following his arrest, more details surrounding the case were revealed including a text message exchange between Pettit and Miller.

Investigators obtained text messages from before the sale, in which Miller proclaims his love for oxycodone and also asks for “bars” of Xanax and a “ball” of cocaine.

According to TMZ, the complaint says that Pettit is one of three people responsible for Miller’s death.

Petit was taken into custody last Wednesday morning. It is not yet known if the other two undisclosed persons have been charged.

The complaint also refers to a prostitute and a madam who also supplied Miller with the drugs.

The Drug Enforcement Agency said in a statement that Pettit would appear in court later in the day on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.

Miller tragically passed away on September 7 2018 (one year ago) following an accidental drug overdose at his California home.
