Yr Fave Curious Brit Louis Theroux Just Announced An Australian Tour For 2020

Ever-curious and politely British documentarian Louis Theroux has announced that after almost four years, he’s coming back to Australia (and New Zealand for the first time) at the start of 2020 with his tour Louis Theroux Without Limits.

Hitting venues across both Aus and NZ in January, the seasoned question-asker will be going through his entire career of producing docos and programs like Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends, delving into the many, many years of a bumblingly awkward Brit kindly asking people “ok, but why do you do that?

The man has met just about every subculture of humanity – from cult members to imprisoned murderers, sex workers to survivalists, and just about everyone in between. It almost seems like no person is too weird or too outlandish for Louis, as he shadows them to follow their day-to-day life.

In the two-hour live show – where he’ll be joined by our very own Julia Zameiro – Louis Theroux will go through behind-the-scenes moments from his extensive work over the years, as well as some of his most famous encounters, and secrets that happened when the cameras stopped rolling.

If you’ve seen his 2013 doco My Scientology Movie you’ll want to know just about everything that went on and how the fuck the local Scientology faction seemed to just SHOW UP every time Louis was trying to film. HOW DID THEY KNOW, I need to know.

Check out all the dates below, and sign up for the tour’s presale over on the website. The presale begins on June 18, and general sale begins on June 24.
