When you think about Louis C.K.‘s particular brand of humour, the phrase ‘kid-friendly’ isn’t exactly the first that comes to mind, but that could all be about to change.
The curmudgeonly comic has signed on to star in ‘The Secret Life Of Pets’, an animated film about a talking dog, and it looks, dare we say it, pretty grrrrrreat.
Per reports in The Verge, C.K. stars as “a terrier forced to deal with his master’s new pet”, a “sloppy mongrel”, played by Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family.
The top-notch supporting cast includes the likes of Jenny Slate, Hannibal Buress, Ellie Kemper, Albert Brooks, Bobby Monnihan, Lake Bell, and Kevin Hart as a homicidal bunny.
Despicable Me‘s Chris Renaud will direct the film, which is due out in July next year. There probably won’t be a lot of this very NSFW business:
