Logan Williams, a young actor who appeared on TV shows like The Flash and Supernatural, passed away suddenly this week, at the age of 16.
His mother Marlyse Williams confirmed the news to British Colombia-based outlet Tri-City News, saying that she is “absolutely devastated” by her son’s death.
Tragically, social distancing policies arising from the coronavirus pandemic mean that the family is not able to grieve the young actor’s loss together.
“I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild,” his mother told the outlet.
The Flash star Grant Gustin took to Instagram to share a tribute to the actor, who played the young version of his character Barry Allen. He said:
“Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.”

Logan Williams also appeared on the Hallmark series When Calls The Heart, and actress Erin Krakow paid tribute to the “beautiful, warm, silly and talented young man.”
Logan was a beautiful, warm, silly, and talented young man. He could always make us laugh. He was just shy of 17 and had what I’m sure would have been a very bright future ahead of him. pic.twitter.com/FDaYjdPW6H
