Absolute superstar Lizzo has surprised her mum with a brand new Audi, and the video is one of the most wholesome things I’ve seen all year. If you wanted to kickstart yourself into the Christmas spirit, then this is definitely the way to do it.
“Got my mommy a brand new Audi for Xmas,” Lizzo wrote on the post, which debuted on Instagram.
“I remember crying in my car when my daddy passed, no job, no money, nowhere to live, wishing I could one day provide for my family. I couldn’t do it for my dad so ima make sure I spoil Mama. Happy holidays y’all.”
In the wholesome AF clip, Lizzo’s mum is escorted to her house with her eyes covered, only to find out that she’s received a brand new Audi for herself. At first, she cries because she’s just gotten a new set of wheels, but then realises its a car she’s always wanted, and my goodness, I am shedding TEARS.
“You see these things on television but you never expect these things to happen to yourself,” says Lizzo’s mum in the clip, which is just icing on the cake that is this amazing video.

Honestly, there must be no greater feeling than being able to make enough money to treat your parents for all of their hard work. At the end of the day, those are the people who have made you the person you are, and deserve a little surprise every now and then.
Lizzo also recently got into the Christmas spirit by posting a video twerking against a Christmas tree. Yep, synchronising with some slow-changing Christmas lights, Lizzo showed us once again why nobody else can twerk like her.
Also, that tree is incredible, and I would like about ten in my house. It is SO tall, and I am absolutely obsessed with the decorations.
