Yesterday, we were gifted our very first look at the blessed Lizzie McGuire reboot starring our childhood love Hilary Duff. The pictures are precious, one includes an alpaca, but somewhere in all that rumble-tumble and unbelievable hype, we missed a comment – nay, a horny comment.

Matthew Koma, for those unfamiliar, is Duff’s fiancé. And sure, this absolutely isn’t the horniest comment out there by far but this is LIZZIE MCGUIRE we’re talking about – wholesome childhood idol. Role play, Lizzie McGuire, role play. I don’t want to think about the role play, but I’m also suddenly thinking about Paolo. Christ.
ANYWAY, the comment has copped over 6,000 likes and responses like “pls don’t ruin this for me” and just “omg”. The latter sums it up quite well.
I do not want to think about role play and Lizzie McGuire anymore so instead, let’s talk about the reboot.

Speaking to Good Morning America earlier this year, Duff teased a little of what to expect from the series.
“Right now, her life is framed pretty perfectly. She has her dream job, she’s an apprentice working for an interior designer who’s a pretty big deal. She has a gorgeous fiancée who is a chef at this cool Soho restaurant. She has a cute little apartment in Brooklyn and everything is going her way and she’s celebrating her 30th birthday with all of her friends.”
Everything sounds perfect but obviously, it’s not going to be like this for the entire season.
“She gets some pretty big news at the end of the first episode,” Duff shared.
Also, animated 13-year-old Lizzie will make a return!
“[She’s] still that loud voice inside her head saying all the things that adult Lizzie would like to be saying out loud.”
Duff added that it was super important to keep animated Lizzie as a teenager because she “was so endearing and everybody relates to that character.”
Still no word on whether or not Gordo will return, but surely he will.
