We’ve been frothing the upcoming Lizzie McGuire reboot ever since Hilary Duff herself announced it back in August at Disney’s massive D23 convention, and now we’ve got our first cheeky glimpse at a scene from the show.

Just Jared reports that the Disney+ series started filming today, and of course the paps were on hand to capture it all. While we do not have the kind of cash to pay for these pics, you can see them at Just Jared HERE or courtesy of the good people at Disney+ who posted this magnificent shot.
Yep, that’s a toy alpaca. No, we have no idea why but it’s quirky, plucky Lizzie so we know there’s definitely a reason behind it. Probably a weird one, tbh.
The new series is filming on location in New York City, with Hilary sharing a pic on her own account with the caption “happy first LIZZIE day!”.

Tea on the reboot is that the original family is all returning for the Lizzie McGuire reboot and that the show will launch on Disney+ at a still-to-be-announced date. We can’t bloody wait.
