The media outlet cornered the heartbroken actor and probed him about his recent split from the Hannah Montana actress.

“You don’t understand what it’s like,” the Hunger Games star told the publication after spending the day at his brother Chris Hemsworth’s Byron Bay home.

Adding, “I don’t want to talk about it, mate.”

The actor brothers were spotting grabbing a late arvo fro-yo together, accompanied by the Thor star’s kiddies India, 7, and twins Tristan and Sasha, 5.

Over the weekend, a rep for the couple told PEOPLE that “they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”

Adding that, “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.”

Miley’s posts included a long cryptic caption that was no doubt about her split from the Aussie actor.

“Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win,” she wrote in one post. “Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa, change is inevitable.”

“The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed.”

She goes on to share a quote her father, one Billy Ray Cyrus, used to tell her.

“My dad always told me ‘Nature never hurries but it is always on time’ …. it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own.”

“New day. New adventure,” she wrote on a second post.

And she topped it off with a third post accompanied by a caption that quoted her iconic 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie.

“Life’s a climb… but the view is great,” she wrote.
