Leonardo DiCaprio Will Play 24 Different Roles In One Movie

Your boy Leonardo DiCaprio‘s next project is a movie called The Crowded Room, in which he will play 24 distinct roles. Yes, you read that number right, and yes, it’s a lot. That’s only four more than the number of models that the actor was rolling with last year, when he hit peak Leo during a visit to a Miami club.
Per a report in Complex, the movie tells the story of real-life figure Billy Milligan, who was the first person to use multiple personalities as a defense in court. He made a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity to two rapes and a robbery in Ohio in the 1970s, claiming that two of his other personalities committed the crimes without his knowledge.
The two personalities in question were “Ragen, a Yugoslavian communist who admitted to the robbery” and “Arthur, an uptight Englishman”, which sounds like an opportunity for the kind of capital-a ACTING that could finally snag Leo his first Oscar. It likewise sounds like it could go hideously wrong, but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
The film is based on a book published in 1981, and DiCaprio has been eyeing it off since 1997.
