Lee Lin Chin Impersonating Lara Bingle For Lockouts Piece Is Everything

Bless you, SBS. Just goddamn bless you. Bless this rainy Thursday morning, because this is the world we live in and WHAT A TIME, folks, it is to be alive.

It’s been almost 10 years since little known model Lara Bingle stood on an Australian beach and yelled ‘So where the bloody hell are you?’ to millions of people around the world, most of whom didn’t take it too kindly.

Tourism Australia‘s ~ ICONIC ~ ad might have been banned from airing in multiple countries, thanks to its use of ‘bloody’ and ‘hell’ and possibly ‘Lara Bingle’, but it cemented its place in Australian history. We bloody loved it.

Which brings us to 2016.

SBS’s The Feed has recreated the classic ad, and national treasure Lee Lin Chin has taken on the role of Bingle herself.

This is too much. We are not worthy.

Forum Special: Lockout Laws

Where the bloody hell are you? We’re locking 50 people in a pub for the ultimate debate on Australia’s lockout laws. Don’t miss The Feed Forum: Lockout Laws, Tuesday 7.30pm, SBS 2.#TheFeedSBS

The promo is, of course, to promote their upcoming forum on Australia’s (bullshit) lockout laws.

The delightful combination of Lee Lin, Lara, and lockout law dragging is just… just… ahhhh *kisses fingers*.
