There’s a crossover coming… kind of. Law and Order: SVU is doing an episode about a version of The Bachelor, where a contestant on ‘Heart’s Desire‘ (ding ding) finds out via night cam footage that she may have been raped by the male star while spending the night in the ‘Dream Suite’ (ding ding ding, hello, Fantasy Suite).
The male star claims the encounter was all part of the script, so perfect angel human (and Taylor Swift‘s cat’s namesake) Olivia Benson, and excellent detective Fin (Ice-T) have to investigate what parts of this reality show are actually real, and what are not.
The episode’s title? Assaulting Reality. Heavy.
It’s not the first time The Bachelor has been mined for television content – if you haven’t watched the psychological dramady UnReal yet, do so at once (it’s on Stan) – but it’s an interesting turn for Law and Order to take, particularly hot off the back of their Terry Richardson-inspired episode.
The episode airs on Wednesday May 11 in the US, so… yeah… *no* idea how you’re gonna watch that one.
