After a lengthy search that saw hunk after hunk audition for the role of the king himself, Elvis Presley, the handsome Austin Butler was finally cast in the lead role of the upcoming biopic.

While no other cast announcements have been made as of yet, the internet has already decided who they want to play his widow Priscilla Presely and the 74-year-old is totally onboard.
Punters have been petitioning for Cancerian qween Lana Del Rey to portray Presley in the Baz Luhrmann flick and they’ve been v. vocal about it on social media.

According to Radar Online, Del Rey is also keen to be cast, with a source saying that Lana “feels it’s a role she was born to play.”
“She’s has her agent badgering Baz for months now, hoping to get her cast.”
When Presley was probed about the notion, she responded saying that she’s a fan of the ‘Video Games’ singer, thus insinuating her interest in having Del Rey bring her to life in film.
“I like Lana,” she told reporters at LAX when asked about the songstress.
Lana has reportedly been obsessed with trying to land the part, and according to Radar Online, has been badgering director Baz about casting.
