Lady Gaga, Bless Her, Apologised To Jimmy Fallon For That Absolute Mess Of An Interview

Lady Gaga and Jimmy Fallon (virtually) sat down together once again, with Gaga apologising for cutting their initial chat short a few days prior. Let’s backtrack…

Last week, Fallon had called Gaga intending to make a ‘giant announcement’. But Gaga appeared to be a tad flustered and under the pump: “I can’t Jimmy, er, I can’t talk write now,” she told him. “I’m sorry, it’s just, like, a really weird time… I have a lot of phone calls to make.”

Our queen, who is obviously under a lot of stress right now, inevitably rescheduled the chat, but not without leaving us viewers a little confused. Check out the encounter below.

As it turns out, Gaga was busy curating a global virtual concert alongside Global Citizen and the World Health Organization, titled One World: Together At Home.

As reported earlier todayOne World: Together At Home will kick off from 1pm AEST (so 8pm Pacific Time) on Sunday, April 19, and feature the likes of Billie EilishGreen Day‘s Billie Joe ArmstrongBurna BoyAlanis MorissetteIdris & Sabrina ElbaKeith UrbanLizzoKacey MusgravesFINNEASStevie WonderJ Balvin, and more.

So, uh, yeah. I reckon she can be forgiven.

The event will be hosted by Fallon, alongside Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

“I’m so sorry. We weren’t quite ready yet,” Gaga explained to Fallon in the follow-up chat. “I really appreciate you being so nice about it… Thank you. I love you. I love your viewers and everyone at home watching. I just wish everybody well.” A FUCKING ANGEL.

She then FaceTimed Apple CEO Tim Cook to lock in a $10 million donation towards the benefit.

All hail Gaga. She did that.

Now while we wait for the gig, let’s reminisce about the time ‘Stupid Love’ interrupted an Italian council’s coronavirus meeting. Iconic.
