A former New York City waitress – who it’s fair to say is probably no longer working in the restaurant business – has taken to social media to dish on some of her celebrity diners, including Kylie Jenner, who is apparently not a great tipper.
Tipping is expected in the US, where many servers and other restaurant staff are forced to rely on it to get by. According to Julia Carolann, the wealthy TV star and cosmetics mogul was not exactly forthcoming with her dosh.
“She was fine, but she tipped $20 on a $500 dinner bill,” Carolann said of Kylie Jenner, who scored a 2/10. “Do with that information what you will.”
Carloann says she worked in a “fancy Manhattan restaurant”, and it’s not clear which one, but a LinkedIn profile that appears to be hers lists both Tao and Nobu as previous employers.

Bella and Gigi Hadid were rated much more highly. Carolann gave the sisters a 10/10, saying they are “super polite and nice with staff, which unfortunately is rare for celebrities.
She claimed to have had a “bad experience” with social media star Cameron Dallas, who copped a 4/10 score thanks to an entitled attitude.
Hailey Bieber was also “not nice” the handful of times that she and Carolann crossed paths. “I really want to like her but I have to give her a 3/10”, the former hostess said.
Kylie Jenner, who was recently stripped of the title of the world’s youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes, was recently knocked off the top spot as Instagram’s highest-paid influencer.
That honour now belongs to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who pulls in more than a million bucks for each sponsored post.
