In short: a picture of a Travis-Scott-Looking-Man and a Not-Kylie-Woman appeared on the web with the TMZ watermark, it made a shitload of headlines, then Scott full-on denied it.

“TMZ ain’t post this shit,” he commented on a fan account’s Instagram. “Trolls working hard today. I don’t be on a balcony with no thots. That shit lame. Try again u trollssss. Me and my wifey sturdy. Back to celebrating!”

Today, YouTuber Christian Adam posted a video explaining the whole thing was a prank – inspired by that fake Justin Bieber and burrito hoax.

Reacting to the prank, Jenner posted a screenshot of the video to her Instagram story with the caption: “IDK if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family.”

“I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. the internet scares me sometimes for real,” she continued.

Kardashian, despite not wanting to bring attention to the video, shared a screenshot of the YouTuber’s post slamming it as “disgusting”.

“I hate that I am bringing attention to this but this is absolutely disgusting that you would find this funny to mess with Travis & Kylie who just started a family together,” she wrote. “This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong!”

On YouTube, the video’s description reads: “DISCLAIMER: this video was NOT made to intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or the entire Kardashian family in ANY way shape or form.”
