Kylie Jenner is mad, you guys.
Her baby shower – the one for a fetus she hasn’t even confirmed is growing inside her belly yet – wasn’t as big or as glitzy or as uniquely her as was the one for big sister Kim Kardashian West, only the day before.
According to an extremely gossipy insider, the 20-year-old wanted was forced by momager Kris Jenner to have the baby shower inside a lavish marquee in the garden of her $12 million home, instead of in the trendy L.A. nightclub she really wanted. Forced! For the sake of good TV!
“Kim for the VIP treatment for her baby shower, it was naturally an out-of-this-world, no expenses spared, celeb-packed event with Kim as the star of the show,” a source told The Sun. “Kylie’s by contract took place a day later and was much more low key.”
Kim and Kanye are expecting their third child via a surrogate, and have had the goddamn decency to confirm the news to the public. Kylie may or may not be expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott, and continues to send her followers into a frenzy by coyly Snapchatting pink and/or blue items.
The source continued: “Firstly Kylie had to do hers as part of the TV show – Kylie had her own ideas, she wanted to do a very young, hip and L.A. type baby shower, in a cool club with all of her friends there, and the opposite of Kim and Khloe‘s plans.
“But she had do it on a certain date for TV scheduling purposes (so they can show the episode before the baby is born) – but after Kim.
“It was a pyjama party in the garden, with all of her friends – organised by the TV producers and her mom Kris. Kris is a producer so was stage managing the episode of the show. Kylie’s friends couldn’t use social media so pics didn’t leak out, and everyone was banned from taking selfies for Snapchat just in case.”

The news that Kylie even had a baby shower came from an E! News source, and since E! airs Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we’re inclined to believe it.
The source said the entire pink production, with “hundred of pink roses that looked like a wedding”, “pink rose petals scattered around the pool” and “a big wall of pink flowers and a little stage.” We get it, you’re having a girl.
The guests were given silk pyjamas and slippers to wear, but Kylie wasn’t mad keen on that, either.
“Kylie didn’t like wearing baggy pyjamas – she’d prefer something sexier or cooler,” said The Sun’s source.
“And of course Travis wasn’t there. He’s on tour. She was upset he couldn’t make it – she knew he’d be on tour, but it’s hard for her. She’d prefer he was by her side. Instead, her best mate Jordan had to step in again.”
If the huge, fuck-off rock in her Snapchat is anything to go by, though, it looks like Kylie might be engaged. Kris always said she’d love the series finally on KUWTK to be Kylie’s wedding, after all.
