‘The Hills’ Villain Kristin Cavallari Is Now Trolling Vegans Via Instagram

Kristin Cavallari The Hills Laguna Beach Vegan Instagram

Just going to kick things off here by pointing out that I never liked Kristin Cavallari. She was mean to Lauren Conrad from day dot in Laguna Beach and I have no idea why they brought her back for The Hills (clearly because she’s spicy and creates drama and they’re TV producers and they know what to do. But still.)

Anyway, turns out Kristin is still angering folks off-screen. This time, the married mother-of-three isn’t breaking hearts and stealing other people’s boyfriends (am I the only one who thinks LC and Stephen Colletti should hooked up?!), but being accused of animal cruelty. Actually.

It all started back in May when Kristin, 31, posted this cheeky pic of her posing with her pet chicken, angering animal rights activists with the caption.

She was slammed in the comments section at the time, copping backlash like: “I’m a fan but this post is in very bad taste. I found it cold and cruel”, “Love you but hate the caption” and “Just eat it if you’re going to, you don’t need to take a photo of it. It is inhumane to document it like it’s cute. It’s not cute. This is why you’ll never be as famous as you think you deserve to be.”

Ouch.

Now, K-Cav has stirred the pot once again, this time with a pic of a goat and a caption that was basically a big middle finger to all her ~vegan haters~.

Predictably, this only angered some of her followers more, with one posting:

She does really lack intelligence! It’s such a tacky post. Typical 30 year old me me me mentality. Ridiculously self promoting. All about her. She thinks it’s funny to get a reaction when in reality it’s very childish and insensitive. She can farm/eat whatever she wants, that is her right. The real problem is her lack of understanding and flippant regard to a serious matter. She only sees it from her small minded point of view and her smug attitide [sic].

Another added this rather confusing sentiment: “Guess its a good thing your dog wasn’t born a cow because you’d be eating him” and someone else weighed in with: “Honestly, I didn’t mind your chicken comment (I’m a vegan), but I feel like now you’re just being a mean girl…not a good look.”

And while I’m not a vegan or triggered by either of her posts, I’ve got to agree with this person’s comment: “She was always the most immature from The Hills… clearly nothing has changed!”

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Kristin, it’s that she can’t help but stir shit – so somehow I don’t think this will be the last of her animal pics.
