Remember when shoes were the most utilitarian form of clothing ever? A sartorial afterthought. Things you wore to avoid social exclusion, looking homeless, stepping on glass or rolling your ankle? Neither can I. Nowadays there’s a whole lifestyle based around them, shoes! Nowadays sneakers are the subject of mini-films helmed by actual directors and populated by veteran thespians.
