Kim Kardashian, who has become the unofficial mouthpiece of the Kardashian Krisis Response Team this week, recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about the cheating scandal that saw Tristan Thompson exposed just as sister Khloe was preparing to give birth to their child.
In the interview, set to air on Monday’s episode of Ellen, Kim discussed the now-infamous videos that surfaced earlier this month, showing the NBA star cheating with multiple women. She said:
“Poor Khloe. I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s just so fucked up.”
As for how the family has been handling the news, she said:
“We really were rooting for Khloe and we still are. She’s so strong and she’s doing the best that she can. It’s a really sad situation all over. I kind of made this rule with my brother. If there’s a baby involved, I’m going to keep it cute and classy and try not to say anything negative because one day True is going to see this. It’s just so messed up.”
Kim also made headlines this week when she attempted to moderate the backlash against husband Kanye West, after he returned to Twitter to post a slew of pro-Donald Trump material.

She addressed his return to the social network on the show, although it’s unclear whether this was filmed before or after his pro-Trump outburst. She joked:
“I didn’t even know he got his Twitter again. At night, he came in and was like did you see my tweets … and I followed him back.”
Kim Kardashian may have more to say on the matter when the full interview airs Monday, but we’ll assume, as always, that Kris Jenner is behind her, pulling the string to work out how the family can profit from all of this.
